68/87 Lessons

“Repeat Row Labels on each printed page “

If we want to print a “Pivot Table”, we can repeat the “Row labels” on each page that is printed.

If you have opened a print preview, it has to be closed first. Then right-click any cell in the “Pivot Table” and click the “Pivot Table Options” drop-down menu.

Choose the “Options” and select the “Printing” tab. Check ” Set Print titles” and click OK.

Open the preview again by clicking the “File” button, and select “Print” tab. In the preview window, click the “Next page” button at the bottom.

Notice that the column and “Row label” are repeated at the top of each page.

Page breaks

When we have more than one row field, “Excel” can automatically add page breaks between the row fields.

Right-click above the outer row field, in this case the “Province” and choose “Field Settings” from the drop-down menu.

Choose the “Layout and Print” tab in the dialog box that appears.

In the “Print” section, check the box for the “Insert page break after each item.” text.

Click OK.

See the preview again.

All “Provinces” are now on their own page.
