The Sent Items folder

A copy of all your sent messages are found in the “Sent Items” folder.
To open it in the 2003 version, click in the navigation panel on “Mail” and select the “Sent Items” folder.
To open it in XP and 2000 versions, click “Personal” in the Outlook Bar and choose the “Sent Items” folder.
We can copy and print sent messages the same way as the messages in our Inbox folder.
It may also be useful to resend a lost e-mail.
Normally email is a very reliable method for sending messages, but things could always go wrong. Personally, its been15 years since I started working with the Internet, but you never know.
So, when you have a person who claims to have not recieved your e-mail, the “Sent Items” folder is a convenient solution.

Resend the message

To send a message, we open our first “Sent Items” folder.
We double-click the message we want to send again, and left click on “Actions” and select “Resend This Message …”.

The message appears in a new email window, if necessary make some changes to the text, and click the “Send” button.

Withdraw Message

It could be for stopping a message that is sent, and you did not wish this message to be read by the recipient for some reason.
For example, you send an email to your mother-in-law abusing her hair, but then you realize that you need her to babysit the little ones.
As long as your mother-in-law did not open this message, we can still revoke or modify.

To do this we first open our “Sent Items” folder and double click the message.
In the “Message” that is open now, choose “Actions” – “Recall This message…” in the menu bar.
In the dialog that opens, we have two choices.
Whether we choose to completely remove the message, or select the message to be replaced by another message.
Click OK.

The first post is now completely removed.
Your mother still gets the first message, but also gets a second message stating that you withdrew the first message.

TheOutbox

The Outbox folder is actually a temporary storage place for an e-mail waiting to be sent.
We can see the messages in this folder, copy, and print it the same way as the messages in our Inbox folder.
When you work with a modem, which is not always connected to the Internet, the emails that you have not “sent”, are placed in this folder.
If you work with a cable or DSL connection, this is a useless folder.
You’ll be always connected to the Internet, and click on “Submit”, your e-mail is actually sent.
This is not the case with a modem which is connected to a telephone line.
Here you have to manually connect to the internet to use your e-mail.
So all your emails that you write and “send” are placed in the Outbox folder.
Once you connect to the Internet, these mails are actually sent.

Since I have a cable connection, there are no messages in my Outbox folder.
