Template

As of now, you already know that in “Publisher” we have dozens or perhaps hundreds of templates, but I will now show you how to create a template.

What we’re going to create now is obviously our first design.
We click on the “File” tab in the “Menu bar” and select the “Save as …” option.
In the “Save as type” text box at the bottom of the “Save as” dialog box, click on the arrow pointing downwards and select the “Publisher template” option.

Once you have done this, “Publisher” automatically switches to the “Templates” folder .
Give your template a name, and click on the “Save” button.

Close the file, and open a new file where the newly created template is to be applied.
Click on the “File” tab and select “New”.
As you now know, the welcome window, opens.
Click on the “My Templates” button in the left panel.

The window with the newly created template, now opens.
If you have already created multiple templates, they will all be displayed, here.
Select the template you want to use, and click on the “Create” button.

The new publication, featuring the template, appears in the window.
This can still be formatted or modified according to your need.

We have just created a template from a blank document, but you can also create a template from an existing template.
To do this, first open the template.
Make the necessary changes.
Then save it as a template.
Give the template a name, and close the publication.
This template will again be found under the “My Templates” panel.

Awesome!
