Official check for problems

Before we think of printing our publication, or sharing our publication on Internet sites, we should first check our publication to see that there are no problems or complications.
Click on the “Tools” button in the “Menu bar” and select “Design Checker”.
In the “Design Checker” pane that appears, by default, a list of general design issues that are found in the publication, are listed.

When we move the mouse pointer in the panel over a problem, an arrow pointing downwards is displayed. When you click this, a drop-down menu with four options is displayed.

1.When you select the “Go to this item” option, every occurence of this problem, in the publication, will be highlighted.

2.When you select the “Fix” option, the problem will automatically be solved, but this is not available for every problem. If this is not available, you will have to resolve this problem, manually.

3.When you select the “Never run this check again” option, this check will not be performed.
Attention! This affects all occurences of the problem. So think before you select this option if you do not want to check anything anywhere else in the publication.

4.When you select the “Explain …” option, click on the “Help dialog” where you can explain the problem, and where you will find a solution to fix this problem.

Depending on the type of check you select, in the upper portion of the “Design Checker” pane there could be several problems.
Checking a website isn’t the same as checking for commercial printing.
