New blank document

To create a new “Publication” from a blank page, click on the “Blank Page Sizes” category diaplayed at the center of the application window, and select the type that you’re looking for from the various options displayed at the top of the page.
Below this, the various dimensions are displayed.

As was mentioned earlier, we can change the “Color scheme”, “Font scheme”, and create a new “Business information” set.

Obviously, we will see this only when we actually have added items to our “Publication”.

Click on the “Create” button when you’re done.  Also, when creating a blank “Publication”, even after clicking on the “Create” button, we can change the various formatting options even including a Template.

Saving a publication

When we have created or modified a “Publication”, we will obviously want to save it.

This can be done in different ways.

One way is to click on the “Save” button on the “Standard toolbar”.

A second way is to click on “File” in the “Menu bar” and select the “Save” option from the drop-down menu.

However, if you’ve made changes to a “Publication” that was saved previously, and you want to save this modified “Publication” under a different name, select the “Save As …” option from the drop-down menu.
In the dialog that appears navigate to the folder on your computer where you want to save the file, and specify a name for the file in the “File name” box.

When we click “Save as” we have the option of saving our “Publication” as a “Publisher” 2007 file, or in a format that is supported by an earlier version of “Publisher”.
You can also save your “Publication” as a “Word” document, pdf document, or a bitmap file (jpg, poison) if you want to distribute it to persons who do not have any version of “Publisher”.

Awesome!
