Specifying Language settings
Note:If you need to change the writing direction of your notes, you need support for languages that are written from right to left. You can use the “Language preferences for Microsoft Office 2010″tool to make the necessary changes.
To set the writing direction from left to right Ctrl + Left Shift
To set the writing direction from right to left Ctrl + Right Shift
To increase the text indent by one level from right to left. Tab
To decrease the text indent by one level from right to left. Shift + Tab
Organizing and Managing “Notebooks”
Working with “Pages” and side notes
To turn the Full “Page” display on or off F11
To create a new “OneNote” window Ctrl + M
To create a small “OneNote” window for creating a short note. Ctrl + Shift + M
To collapse the tabs of a “Page” group. Ctrl + Shift + *
To print the current “Page” Ctrl + P
To add a new “Page” at the end of the selected “Section” Ctrl + N
To enlarge the tab bar for “Page” tabs. Ctrl + Shift +[
To reduce the size of the tab bar for “Page” tabs. Ctrl + Shift+]
To create a new “Page” under the current tab “Page” at the same level Ctrl + Alt + N
To reduce the indentation level of the tab name of the current “Page” Ctrl + Alt +[
To increase the indentation level of the tab name of the current “Page” Ctrl + Alt+]

Selecting all items
Note: Press Ctrl + A continously to extend the range of selection. Ctrl + A
To select the current “Page” Ctrl + Shift + A
If the selected “Page” is part of a group, press Ctrl + A to select all “Page”s in the group. Ctrl + A
To move the selected “Page” tab up Alt + Shift + ^
To move the selected “Page” tab down Alt + Shift + Down arrow
To move the cursor to the “Page” title Ctrl + Shift + T
To go to the first “Page” of the currently visible set of “Page” tabs. Alt + Page Up
To go to the last “Page” of the currently visible set of “Page” tabs. Alt + Page Down
To move the “Page” upwards Page Up
To scroll the “Page” down. “Page” Down

Saving Changes
Note:While “OneNote” is running, when you make changes, your notes are automatically saved. Notes do not need to be saved manually.
Working with “Notebooks” and “Sections”
To create a new “Section” Ctrl + T
To open a new “Notebook”. Ctrl + O
To open a “Section” Ctrl + Alt + Shift + O
To go to the next “Section” Ctrl + Tab
To go to the previous “Section” Ctrl + Shift + Tab
To go to the next “Page” in the “Section” Ctrl + Page Down
To go to the previous “Page” in the “Section” Ctrl + Page Up
To go to the first “Page” in the “Section” Alt + Home
To go to the last “Page” in the “Section” Alt + End
To go to the first “Page” of the currently visible set of “Page” tabs. Alt + Page Up
To go to the last “Page” of the currently visible set of “Page” tabs. Alt + Page Down
To move or copy the current “Page” Ctrl + Alt + M
To move the cursor away from the current “Page” tab. Ctrl + Alt + G
To select the current “Page”., Ctrl + Shift + A
To move the cursor away from the current “Section” tab Ctrl + Shift + G
To move the cursor away from the current “Section” Ctrl + Shift + G or Shift + F10, M
To switch to another “Notebook” Ctrl + G
Use the arrow keys to select another “Notebook” and then press ENTER.
Finding notes
To include all “Notebooks” in the search. Ctrl + E
To display an example of the search results after all “Notebooks” are searched.
To terminate the search after all the “Notebooks” are searched and the required result is obtained. ENTER
To change the scope of the search. Ctrl + E, TAB, SPACEBAR
To open the search task pane (After searching) Alt + O
Only the current search “Page”
Note:You can switch between searching everywhere and searching only the current “Page” by clicking on a random position and pressing the Ctrl + E or Ctrl + F keys. Ctrl + F
To get the next result while searching on the current “Page” ENTER or F3
To get the previous result while searching on the current “Page” Shift + F3
Terminate and return to the search “Page” Esc
Share Notes
To select “Pages” in an e-mail message Ctrl + Shift + E
Share notes with other programs
To select “Pages” in an e-mail message Ctrl + Shift + E
To create an “Outlook” task for that particular day in the note which is currently selected Ctrl + Shift +1
To create an “Outlook” task for the next day in the note which is currently selected Ctrl + Shift +2
To create an “Outlook” task for that particular week in the note which is currently selected Ctrl + Shift +3
To create an “Outlook” task for the next week in the note which is currently selected Ctrl + Shift +4
To create an “Outlook” task in the note which is currently selected without specifying any date Ctrl + Shift +5
To open the selected “Outlook” task Ctrl + Shift + K
To mark the selected “Outlook” task as done Ctrl + Shift 9
To delete the selected “Outlook” task. Ctrl + Shift 0
To make changes in the synchronized shared “Notebook” which is currently open Shift + F9
To make changes in all synchronize shared “Notebooks” F9
To mark the current “Page” as Unread Ctrl + Q
Protecting Notes :
To lock all “Sections” that are protected with a password Ctrl + Alt + L
