Adding a “Journal Entry” for Contacts:

To include the days and hours that you’re busy in the business card of a particular contact, right click on that contact in the contact list, select the “Create” option and click on “Journal entry” in the pop-up menu

Again, a new “Journal entry” window opens.

In this example I will use the time scale to record a telephone conversation with my friend Peter Pienter.

I enter a topic, choose an item type, set a start time and click the “Start timer” button in the ribbon.

When I finish talking, I click the “Pause Timer” button. I now click the “Save and Close” button in the “Ribbon”.

As you can see, my conversation is recorded in the “Journal”. If I wish to call Pete later, I just need to double click this entry in the “Journal”, and click on the “Start timer” button in the window.

To delete a “Journal Entry” and log off

To delete a “Journal” item, select it in the “Journal” and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

To remove all “Journal” entries, select the first item from the list, press the Shift key on your keyboard and click on the last item in the list.

This will select all items in the “Journal”.

Press the Delete button on your keyboard, and all the items are removed.

If you want to remove only certain items from the list, use the Ctrl key on your keyboard while you select the items. When all the necessary items are selected, press the Delete button on your keyboard.

If you want to log off, click the “Journal” button at the bottom of the “Navigation panel”, choose “Add or Remove Buttons” and click “Journal”.
