57/59 Lessons

“Broadcast Slideshow”

What’s new in “PowerPoint” 2010 is that, we can broadcast the presentation via the Internet, for an external audience. In other words, while you present the “Slideshow” in “PowerPoint” on your computer, the audience can follow them in their browsers.
Select the “Slideshow” tab in the “Ribbon” and click the “Broadcast Slide Show” button.

This opens a dialog where you may click “Start Broadcast” button.

If it is the first time you are broadcasting something , you have to give the email address and your password, enter your Windows Live ID. Then click the OK button.  If you do not have a Windows Live ID, then click the “. NET Passport” text and register for a Live ID.

“PowerPoint” makes connection to the “PowerPoint Broadcast Service”:

And when it finishes, it opens a new window where you can find the link to copy into a HTML editor.
Or send this link in an e-mail.

If you choose the second one,it will open your email program and copy this link there.
All you have to do is type in a recipient and the click the “Send” button.

During the broadcast, a message appears that you cannot change your presentation during the broadcast and you have a button to terminate the broadcast.
Click this button, then the online admirer of your course presentation will not see it anymore.
Quite logically, if the TV does not broadcast you cannot watch any program right?

By the way before he can see anything, you have to play the presentation.
But I think, you have figured that out.

Awesome!
