38/65 Lessons

In ProShow there are some standard text styles in the program. Now you can create your own text style and save it for reuse.
The styles can be managed, i.e, you can add, customize or remove a style.

Where are the text styles?

Under the [Captions]> [Caption Settings] tab you will find the [Styles] checkbox.

Here we can manage the various styles.

Adding a Text Style

Click [Add] to add style.
This displays the following window:

At the top, enter the name of the style.

Specify the settings of the current style that you want to associate with the new text style.
When you select this style, these settings are applied to the text.
Usually everything is selected.

Changing the Text style

When you click the [Update] button a window opens, where you can view the settings and make the desired adjustments.

Deleting a Text Style

If you want to delete a text style, then select it and click the [Delete] button.

Tip: Overlapping text and transitions

In the [Captions]> [Caption Settings] there are some special options that can be applied for each text layer.
One is [T] button: “Caption Above / Below Transitions” (Places the text above / below the transition)

With this option, you can place the text above the transition. This makes the text more visible during the transition.
