The “Free Style” tool

Thel “Free Style” too is one of the few tools that we click and drag to draw a figure. The advantage of this is that this can move as a line.

 

When you want to merge the figure that you draw with the “Free Style” tool, with another object, you must ensure that you begin to draw on the edge of the object that you want to merge with.

And finish on the edge of the object that you want to merge the Freestyle Figure.

This merges your Freehand figure with the selected object.
Start to draw somewhere in or outside an object, SketchUp will regard this as a separate object.
So you see in the image 1 below, the result when both endpoints of the Freestyle figure are located on the edge of the object with which you want to merge.
Below you see the number 2, the result when we merge both end points are placed inside the merge object.
