Split Screen

In the previous lesson, I spoke about on the “Display window” that is seen in the bottom right corner of the “Street View”. I also mentioned that it is not so useful when it is so small.

But, we can increase its size by clicking the up arrow at the top left corner of the “Display Window”

 

This opens “Google Street View” with “Google Maps” in a “Split view”, so that it is quite useful, now.

 

In this view, we can drag the guy in a fairly simple way in the “Google maps” pane, and in this way we can navigate to the other end of town.

 

Whenever the mouse button is released, the image in “Google Streetview” is changed, immediately.

To close the “Split View”, click the arrow pointing downwards at the bottom right corner of the “Google maps” (1) pane.
