The use of Tabs

We can use the tab key to create a tabular arrangement

Because Word take the size of the word into account, this will give a little orderly arrangement.
Therefore, we can adjust the setting of the tabs in different ways

1. By clicking the mouse on the left side of the ruler

Decimal Tab Stop

Left Tab

Center Tab Stop

Right Tab

Changing the tab key is done by using the left mouse button
Tab Stop Buttons are set by first selecting and then left-clicking on the location in the ruler.
To remove Tab Stop Buttons, click and drag the Tab Stop Buttons in the ruler to the bottom of the worksheet.
To align text evenly from the left to the right of the tab, use the centered tab key. Place the cursor at the beginning of the paragraph ruler, click the ruler on the tab stop marker button to activate the symbol for the centered tab stop, click the mouse pointer over the desired position in the ruler, press the Tab key to move the text to the center tab stop.

In the same way you set the left tab (left alignment) and the right tab stops(right align) .

The decimal Tab Stop Buttons are used to align decimal numbers just below each other .
Place the cursor on the number, select the ‘decimal’ tab key, click on the appropriate location in the ruler, and press the Tab key.
