Delete Browsing History

There are times when you prefer not to leave traces of your browsing activities on your PC.

For example, you are using someone’s computer and you do not want to leave your browsing history on their PC or when some unwanted page has opened up in your own PC.

For this you have two options.

The first is your “Delete Browsing History”.

Just click the button “Tools” (1), choose “Safety” (2), and click “Delete Browsing History” (3).

A dialog box will appear, select the items you wish to remove from the computer, and click the “Delete” button.

The first option is also an option for sharing and saving your browsing history (1).

When you select this option, all the data for your favorite sites will be saved while the others will be removed automatically.

All the rest are individual components that you can remove (2).

Browsing “InPrivate Browsing”

By using InPrivate Browsing you ensure that your browsing history, temporary Internet files, user names and passwords do not get stored by your Browser.

In other words, by using “InPrivate Browsing” you are not removing your own browser history, they are simply not stored.

You have a number of ways to make use of “InPrivate Browsing”.

One way is by clicking the “Tools” (1), selecting “Safety”, and then clicking on “InPrivate Browsing”.

A second way is by using the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + Shift + P”.

A third way is the “New Tab” button, and in the “new tab page” click “InPrivate Browsing”.

A fourth possibility, and this is only for users of Windows 7, Internet Explorer, right-click button, and selecting “Start InPrivate Browsing”.

Whichever step you choose it would open a new browser window.

At the top of your browser window you would see a clear “InPrivate” window(1).

In this window, an explanation about inPrivate browsing is given (2).

For the rest it is just the same as in the normal surfing.

Type the Internet address in the place that is provided.

If you click the button “New Tab”, then you stay in “InPrivate Browsing” while surfing in this new tab.

To exit the “InPrivate Browsing” mode, you just have to close all windows and tabs that you were surfing in “InPrivate” at that time.
