Standard Tools (1)

Brush Tool

We use the standard tools in Mask Pro when we want to delete or mask parts of our pictue without taking into account the colors in the Drop and / or the Keep window.

One of the standard tools is the Brush Tool.
The Brush tool has two options, the Brush Edge (1) and the Brush Size (2).

The Brush Size is the inner ring of the brush in the picture, the Brush Edge is the outer ring of the brush in the picture.

The greater the percentage of the Brush Edge, the softer the gradient between the deleted and not deleted pixels.

To use the Brush Tool, select it in the Toolbox, set the Edge and Size and click and drag over the pixels you want to delete in the image.

You can use the left and right pointing arrow keys on your keyboard to change these.

To change the Size, click only the arrows and to change the Edge, hold the Alt key on your keyboard while you click the arrow.

Or with the mouse wheel. Same here, without the Alt key to change the Size and with the Alt key to change the Edge.

Bucket Tool

The next tool is the “Bucket Tool”.

The Bucket Tool has no options.

The “Bucket Tool” deletes each pixel and stops only when it encounters closed border with transparent pixels.

Note that if you want to remove pixels with the bucket tool, select the “Erase” mode.

This is the red block (1) in the Toolbox.

Use the green box (2) if you want to restore the pixels again.

Pen Tool

The pen tool has only one option and that is the edge of the mask.

The Pen tool works just as it does in Photoshop.

You set the different selection lines and anchor points by clicking and dragging.

Once you closed the parh, place the cursor in the selected area and click.
This deletes everything that is selected with the Pen Tool.
