A mask with the Highlighter Tools – 1

In this example I’ll show you how to make a mask with the Highlighter tools.

I dragged the photo with the flower into the photo of the landscape.

Then click “Filter” in the menu bar, choose “onOne” in the drop-down menu, and click “Mask Pro”.

In Mask Pro, select the “Keep Highlighter Tool” and click and drag around the colors you want to keep.

If you want to draw a straight line you can click once and click again at the end of the line holding your shift key down.

If you selected excess area, hold the Alt key on your keyboard pressed, and you click on the parts that you want to delete (3) when the mouse pointer changes to an eraser.

Do not draw entirely on the edge of the colors to preserve with the “Keep Highlighter Tool”, Mask Pro is so clever that it knows what you mean.

We do the same with the “Drop Highlighter Tool”.
Again we have the ability to remove the excess selection, holding down the Alt key on the keyboard.

Then we color the area that should remain with the “Keep Highlighter Tool”.

Thus, select this tool again, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard pressed, and click when the mouse pointer changes to a green bucket (1).

The whole area is colored green (2).

The advantage of having the edges of the different areas selected, that is the “Keep” areas and “Drop” areas, is that Mask Pro can still evaluate the colors from these areas.

Then select the “Magic Brush Tool” and click and drag this over the image.

This will remove the color to be removed.
We continue in the next page.

Awesome!
