“Print Preview”

Before we begin printing our “Documents”, you should first do a “Print preview”.
This is done so that we don’t waste paper unnecessarily.
To do this, we have the “Print Preview” (“Print preview“) in “Word”.
To view our “Document”, we click the “Print Preview” button Image07 in the “Standard toolbar”, or we choose “File”(“File“) – “Print Preview” (“Print preview“) in the menubar..

The mouse pointer becomes a magnifying glass.
When we click on a place in our “Document”, the display will zoom in or out.

The “Print Preview” (“Print preview“) has its own toolbar with its own controls, which includes display of multiple pages of our “Document”, printing “Document”, closing etc. ..

“Print” your “Document”

To “Print” a single copy of our “Document” we click on the “Print” button Image06 in the “Standard toolbar”.
To print multiple copies we click “File” (“File“) – “Print” (“Print“) in the menu bar, or we click the “Ctrl” and “P” buttons on our keyboard.
This opens the “Print” dialog:

In this dialog we choose the printer in the upper section.
We give the print range in the second section, “All pages”, “Current page”, or a “Selection of pages” where we enter the “Page number”, or range of pages.
We give the “Number of copies”, and whether we want to “Collate” or not.
Also, in the bottom section we can determine what we actually want to print from a dropdown menu.
To “Print” even or odd pages .
Too many options to mention, you have to give it a try.
Click OK when you have entered your preferences.
