Lesson 20: The Bridge (7)

20/84 Lessons

Review Mode

New to the Bridge is the “Review Mode”, this I had already told you in Lesson 15 but still I want to expand it a bit.

I told you how to get here in Lesson 15, you can quickly do it by the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + B button on your keyboard.

In the review mode, we have a number of buttons.

On the left we have the left and right pointing arrows. With this we navigate between photos.

By clicking on the downward pointing arrow, we will remove the photo from the review mode, not from the Bridge and certainly not from your computer.

You can also enter a rating for the picture in the review mode. First, bring the picture to the front and then choose the number of stars you want to award this.

At the bottom right of the window, we find three buttons.

The first button shows a magnifying glass in the picture. By clicking and dragging in the magnifying glass, you can change the position of the picture. You can close the magnifying glass by clicking on the lower right corner.

The second button will automatically create a collection of these pictures.

The third button will close the review mode.

Slideshow

And finally I would like to have the slideshow.

For this, first select the photos you want to play in the slideshow, click the “View” button in the menu bar and choose “Slideshow” in the drop-down menu.
The pictures are displayed automatically in full screen mode with a default interval of 5 seconds.

To change this, press the L key on your keyboard.

This opens the dialog “Slideshow Options” where we can change the interval between pictures.

In the “Display Options” section, we can obscure an additional monitor, repeat the slide show or zoom in and out.

In the section “Slide options” we can set the duration of the slide, plus specify the captions and display.

And in the section “Transition Options” we can enter the style and speed of the transition.

Click on a picture, it zooms in to 100%.
By clicking on the arrow keys on your keyboard, you can manually navigate between photos.
