Give permissions for each folder, which you wish to assign to that person.
At the bottom we find the dialog boxes:

  1. “Automatically send messages to delegate summarizing these permissions”
this is best checked, so be sure this person is informed that he has been appointed as “Delegate”, and what his permissions are.
  2. “Delegate can see my private items”
this is best left unchecked because the person in question cannot view / edit the items marked by you as private.

Click OK.
An e-mail is sent to the delegate with his permissions.

For authorizing the link to one or more folders, click “File” – “Run” in the menu bar and choose “Other User’s Folder”.
In the “Name” box, name the person you have authorized to be appointed.
Select the folder from the drop-down menu in the folders by clicking the black arrow.
And click OK.
