Frontend

This is the front page of your site.
The frontend is, as mentioned earlier, the part of your application which is seen by everyone who visits your site.

Backend:

To navigate to the backend page of the site, add “/ administrator” to the address entered in the address bar.

In the window that appears, enter the Username and Password.
The default Username is always “admin” and the Password is what you entered during installation. I told you to remember it or write it down.
Click on the “Login” button.

This brings you to the backend of your Joomla site.
As the administrator, it is here that you determine the content of your site.
As seen in the image below, this page is set up in English.
You must be thinking, “I opted for a different language during installation.”
That’s right, but this was the easy installation. In the next lesson we’ll see how you can install the application in a different language.
