The “New Page”:

If you have an article whose content is far too long to display on a single page, you can divide this article into multiple pages.

First open this article in “Article Manager”. I think you know how to do this.

For this example, I take a look at the article “Personnel”.
For each sector, I want a separate page, such as one for clerks, one for warehouse clerks and one for maintenance.
First, I place the cursor in the text editor above the line where I want the page break. In this case, this is for the first page above the text “Shop”.
I now click on the “Page Break” button.
This opens a new window wherein you can enter a title for the page in the first text box, and in the second box, you can enter a text for the link which will be displayed in the frontend.
I repeat this for each part of the page that I want to split.
I do the same thing for the Warehouse and Maintenance sectors.
When I’m done, I click on the “Save” button .

When we go to the front-end, we see that a sub-menu is added to the page “Personnel” where all New pages are listed, along with a link to the entire article, namely “All pages”.

Wht I have to say is that, when you work with the Dutch version of the frontend of “Joomla”, you have a bug that displays the total number of pages incorrectly.

As you can see in the image above, this is not the case, in the English version. Here, the correct number of pages is displayed.

Hopefully, they have solved this problem.

External link:

To add an external link to a text, select the text in the text editor and click on the “Insert / Edit Link” button (1).
In the window that appears, enter the full URL in the first text box, and in the “Target” select the “Open in new window” option. This will open the link in a new window. But I think you must have already figured that out.
If you want to delete a link from a text, select the text with the link, and click the “Unlink” button (2)

Adding a Picture:

To add an image to an article, open the article, place the cursor in the editor in the place where you want to insert an image, and click “Image” at the bottom of the text editor (1).
This opens the “Joomla” media center where a number of standard images are included.
My guess is that you want to insert an image of yourself, so click the “Browse” button (2), to navigate to the image on your PC. Select it and click the “Open” button.
Click on the “Start upload” button(3).
This places your image in the “Joomla” media center (4).
Select it in the media center and click on the “Insert” button(5).

This places the image in the text editor. If necessary, you can adjust the dimensions, or change the alignment. Click on the “Save” button, and you can see the result displayed in the frontend.

Awesome!
