The window

The Web module of Lightroom allows us to do a presentation to the Internet in a fairly simple manner.
We find the different layouts at our disposal at the right side of the window (1).
So, it has included a Lightroom Flash gallery and a Lightroom HTML Gallery.
The Lightroom HTML gallery makes a web page with thumbnail images that link to pages with larger versions of the photos.
The Lightroom Flash Gallery is a Flash based presentation.
All Airtight layouts fall within HTML.
If you have chosen a layout, you can choose a preset template in the “Template Browser” (2).
Depending on the chosen layout style, you have several options in the options window (3).

If you have chosen Lightroom Flash gallery, you have a number of different layouts under the “Appearance” section.
You should try these when you have some time.

If you want to see the show before you upload it, then click the “Preview in Browser” button.
This will open your default browser where the presentation is played.

Export and Upload

If you are satisfied, you can upload it entirely to your server or export to a folder on your computer, then you can later upload these files to your server.
les21_image004_en
To extract all files to export, click the “Export” button.
In the window that appears, you give it a name and click the “Save” button.
The name you type will be the name of the folder to be created, with all the necessary files.
For example, an index page is created and, in our case, with all the necessary Flash swf files, photos and so more.
This whole folder with its content is uploaded to your server with one or another ftp program.
If you however want your presentation, for off-line viewing, double click the index.html page.

However, if you wish all your presentations to go directly to your server, you must first enter the server settings. Seems logical to me.
Just click the double arrow under “Upload Settings” and select “edit”.

In the window that appears, enter all your data to find the server.
If you do not know, that would not surprise me, you can browse for your host.
If you have finished entering the data, click the OK button

If you want to upload everything to the server, click the “Upload” button.
Enter your username and password for that server, of course, and Lightroom will upload everything to the server.

Awesome!
