New in Lightroom 3 are the “Publish Services” options.
We find this in the Library module.
These new options allow us, to publish photos directly to Facebook, Flickr and SmugMug.
Even to your “hard drive”.

Publishing to a Social Network Site

The first thing we need to do is to connect to the Social Network site.
I choose Facebook for this example, so I double click Facebook.
The other I know, anyway.
In the dialog that appears, click “Authorize on Facebook”.
Your account on Facebook will automatically open and here it asks for your consent.
Click Allow in the window that appears.

Click the “Done” button in the next window.

Click the “Create New Album” button if you prefer that a new album be made for the photos on Facebook.
Give the album a name and click OK.
Then click the “Save” button.

Your account on Facebook is now linked to Lightroom.

Then drag the photos from Lightroom to the directory on Facebook.

Right click this folder then and choose “Publish now”.

This puts all the photos in the folder you had just created on Facebook.
That is all you have to do.
