Lesson 19: Cutting 3D figures (2)

Cut two cylinders

We are now going to cut two cylinders, or rather tubes.

A hollow cylinder is called a tube, well hey!
Ok, what have I done now.
I changed the cylinder into a tube, by removing the surfaces and I did this with the same length as that of the cube (A).
I then drew a second circle (B) in the plane perpendicular to the plane that my tube runs (1).
Then I have made a tube by pushing this circle with the push / pull tool to the edge (C) on the other side of the cube (2)

And that is the result.
I cannot see through the two tubes.
One impedes the see-through view of the other and vice versa (1).

How do we solve this?
Simple.

We right-click a cylinder, no matter which one, we choose “Insersect” and click “Intersect with Model” in the drop-down menu (2).

Next, we will remove any part of the cylinder in each aperture of the cube.
Right click above the section, and select “Delete” from the drop-down menu (3).

When everything that needs to be removed is deleted, we have the following result:

Awesome!
