2. Creating a “Notebook” (Part 3).

As we have created a “Notebook”, we now need to start collecting materials. Obviously, a lot of materials can be found on the internet. So we’re going to browse for whatever we may need. Before we do that, we need to figure out what “Sections” we will need. Recipes constitute of various dishes, so we can divide them into various “Sections” like soups, meats, seafood, vegetable dishes, desserts, etc.

We now have defined the “Sections”. We can always make adjustments afterwards. Each “Section” has “Pages”, which can also be divided into various sub-groups. For example, soups can be split into vegetable soups, meat soups, fish soups, etc. Thus each “Page” can consist of a particular variety of a single dish.

The dishes can be divided into hot and cold appetizers, etc. This division of “Sections” and “Pages” facilitates searching. Always bear in mind that we may have to and can make changes, afterwards. You can open Internet Explorer or any other browser to search for different varieties of “Soups”.

You will have a range of options after searching. You can choose one and select a recipe. You can click the right button of the mouse to “Copy” it.

We now go back to our notebook and open the “Soups” “Page” in the Soups “Section” and “Paste” this information. You now have the description for the selected soup in your notes.

If you are on the “Page” and you click it, then a “Container” (1) opens. Right click inside the “Container” and click “Paste” (2).

This gives us the following result:

Now we “Paste” the rest of the recipe here. This gives us the following result:

You will notice that a “URL” is appended along with each item that is pasted. In the above example the “URL” appears four times.

The big advantage of this is that you can always go to that particular site without having to think where you came from.

You can easily click on the “URLs” to go to those particular sites. The size of the “Container” is determined by the length and the width of the text.

We can easily customize the “Container” by moving and clicking the mouse on the edges to re-structure or re-size it. For example, we can reduce the width. The text present in the Container then adapts to the new size.

All “Links” that are copied remain active. Now we can continue adding another recipe.

Awesome!
