“Scratch Remover”

When we scan an old photo, we may have a lot of scratches on it.
In “PSP” we have an option to remove them.
To do this, first open the photo, and then select the “Scratch Remover” tool in the tool bar. You can find this tool in the “Clone” tool.
When the “Scratch Remover” tool is selected in the tool bar we have two options in the options menu. With the first you determine the width of the selection, and with the second you determine the shape of the selection.
When we work with the “Scratch Remover” tool for the selection, we click and drag a box on the photo that we want to change.
In this case, we have a scratch on the photo, so we release the mouse button after completely selecting the scratched portion son that it is completely overlapped.

You can do the same thing with “Clone” tool. It is up to you to select the tool you want to work with.

“Skin smoothing”

We find the “Skin Smoothing” tool under the menu “Adjust” in the menu bar.
When we click on it , it opens the dialog “Skin Smoothing” which immediately starts to smoothen out the photo, or skin, whatever you want to call it. The default setting is 50%.

But in this case there is a need for a lot more smoothening, as shown in the photo so scroll through the “Amount” option.
In this case, this is definitely needed, so I put the slider at 92%, in the hope that this child will be able to have a respectable face.
If you are satisfied click the “OK” button.

Awesome!
