The Pen Tool (2)

Let us store the image as PSP image.
To select the vector layer, we click the “Swap Material” button.
This fills color in our shape.

 

Click the letter “S” on your keyboard to select the select tool.
Press the CTRL + A key and click any where on the picture.
The cup of coffee, or rather the shape of the cup of coffee is now selected.

 

We store this selection as an alpha channel. Click on the “Selections” tab in the menu bar.
Select “Load / Save Selection” in the drop-down menu, and click “Save Selection to Alpha Channel”.

 

Select the background layer, then press Ctrl + C on your keyboard to copy it, and then press Ctrl + V to paste the copied layer to a new one.

You can remove the extras from the top two layers.

 

It is easier to do all this in “Photoshop” rather than in “Paint Shop Pro”.
