“Saving a Selection to the alpha channel”

A second way is to save a selection is as an alpha channel in a photo.

You can not use this in another image, but even if you move the picture to another computer, this selection will still be available.

Just click “Selections” in the menu bar, select ” Load / Save Selection” in the drop-down menu and click the “Save Selection to Alpha Channel” option.

This opens a dialog where you select a name and click the “Save” button.

If you Save your photo as PspImage you can retain alpha channels.
If you Save it as a .Jpg image you will lose the alpha channel.

You can save multiple selections as alpha channels.

To load a selection from the alpha channel, click “Selections” in the menu bar, place your mouse pointer over the option “Load/Save Selections” and select “Load Selection From Alpha Channel”.

If you have multiple names, click the arrow pointing downwards and select one of the alpha channels in the list.
Click the “Load” button.

If you want to add multiple selections select the “Add to current selection” check box.

If you wish to subtract a selection from an existing selection, select “Subtract From current selection” check box.

I think every thing is clear.

I don’t think there’s anything else to say about “Selections”, I think we can move to Masks.

Awesome!
