The “Freehand selection” tool

As I mentioned earlier so we have four options in the “Freehand selection” tool

The first thing I’m going to discuss is the “Free hand” option.
Select the required portion of your image .Move your mouse around the object you want to select and release the mouse button.

As the name suggests this is a free hand tool. You need a steady hand to use it wel

The second option is “Edge Seeker”.

When we select this type of selection tool, “PSP” finds the edges between two areas with color differences when you click on the edges of irregularly shaped areas.
Based on this difference PSP will add a selection border.
If you click on various points in the image, “PSP” will try to find an edge. If you are at the last point of the edge, double click the figure, to select it.
This selection method can be very useful if the object that you want to select is the image which is present on the background layer.

The third option is “Point to point.”
This is useful when you need to select straight edges, eg: of a building

The fourth option is “Smart Edge.”
This is similar to the “Edge Seeker” but the only difference is the rectangular cursor that encloses the edge. You can change the accuracy of “Edge Seeker” and the “Smart edge” selection by clicking along the edges.

You can remove an earlier point by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.

Tip 1: To add to your selection, press the Shift key on your keyboard while you have a selection .Click and drag to the selected part.

Tip 2: To remove selection keep the Ctrl key on your keyboard pressed.

To add some portions to your selection click the +ve sign with your cursor.  To delete certain portions click the -ve sign.

Awesome!
