17.1. Working with “Outlook” – Part 2

In the “OneNote” icon in the Home tab in “Outlook”, there is a link to the note in “OneNote”. You can now edit and finish the task in either “Outlook” or “OneNote”. The synchronization of the entire process facilitates a two-way transfer of information. So you can schedule a particular task and complete it in either of these two applications.

In the image shown below, you can see an overview of the “Outlook task markers” that you can assign in “OneNote”. In the same menu, you can find an option to open a task in “Outlook”.

You can also transfer information from your “Outlook” calendar to “OneNote”, or use your notes as the basis to schedule a meeting or appointment and thereby update your “Outlook” calendar.

Move the cursor to the location in “OneNote” where you want to enter data.

Click on the “Details of meeting” button found in the “Home” tab.
