Moving or resizing a selected cell which has a formula:

Once you have come to the conclusion that the cell reference you have entered is the wrong one, you can do this.

A. Wrong column or row:

  1. Click in the cell containing the formula.
  2. Press F2, for the cell to be framed.
  3. Move the cursor to the edge of the frame, until the cursor becomes a four-headed arrow.
  4. Click and drag the frame, with the left mouse button, to the desired location.

B. Wrong size:

  1. Click in the cell containing the formula.
  2. Press F2, for the cell to be framed.
  3. Move the cursor to a corner of the frame until the cursor changes to a double-headed arrow.
  4. Click and drag the frame with the left mouse button to achieve the desired size.
