Rotation of fields in the same area:

In this tip, I will explain how to rotate fields in the same area.

In the previous tip, I showed you how to have multiple fields in an area and how you format it as currency.
In this tip, I will show you how to get the different data in the same area.
This is very simple.

In the example below, my “Row Labels” are distributed into different names (A), which are divided into different provinces (B).

Click and drag the “Name” field in the “Row Labels” area under the “Province” (1).  Then the data shown in the PivotTable is “rotated” being first filtered based on the “Province” and then based on the “Name” (2).
