Navigation system:
In this tip, I will show you a quick way to add a navigation system to your workbook.

As an example, I have created an Excel workbook with seven worksheets.
One for the navigation system and one each for the sale of products each month.

In the “navigation system” worksheet, I have a list of several months for which an additional worksheet is created.
With a pair of sheets as in this example, it is easy to select the worksheets in the bar but, if you have dozens, it can be specially useful to have navigation buttons in a worksheet.

First select the cell for which you want to create a hyperlink.

Then select the “Insert” tab in the “Ribbon” and click the “Hyperlink” button.  This is one method.
A second method is to use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+K, on your keyboard.

This opens the “Insert Hyperlink” dialog box.
Select “Place in this document” in the “Link To” section on the left side of the dialog box.
In the window, select the location that you want to navigate to and click the OK button.
Optionally, you can also enter a cell reference.

This adds a hyperlink text named “January” in the “navigation system” worksheet.

Repeat this for the month of “February”.

You can also do this for all the subsequent months.
Now you can navigate to all the worksheets in your workbook in a fairly simple way.
Even though there might be hundreds of them.

To make it all a little neat, you can also draw buttons (1) with the “Shapes” (2) tool in the “Ribbon” and add a hyperlink to this shape in the same way.

Alternatively, you can add a hyperlink for each worksheet to the “navigation system” worksheet.

Awesome!
