Inserting Text:

When we have inserted a “SmartArt” graphic into our slide, we see a text window to the left of the “SmartArt” graphic.

To add text, we have two options.
You can enter text in the placeholder text boxes in the text window, or you can enter text directly in the placeholder text boxes of the “SmartArt” object.
Select whichever text box you want by clicking on it and start typing.

Whenever you enter your text in a text box in the text window, it will immediately be displayed in the “SmartArt” graphic.
Whenever you enter your text in the text box, in the “SmartArt” graphic, it will immediately be displayed in the text window.
