Creating Labels

To create a label select the address first in the document, and then click the “Labels” tab under “Mailings” in the ribbon.
This opens the dialog “Envelopes and Labels” with two tabs, with the tab “Labels” selected as default.
The address is already filled in because we had already selected it in our document, but you can change it by typing or pasting another.

Among them we find two options for the “Print”.
If you select the first option, the same address will be printed on a full page.

Select the second option, if you wish to print a label on a sheet of different labels. Specify in the boxes below the number of rows and number of columns on your sheet of labels.

The example shown in the “Label”, is an example of the last label used.

To print the label, click the “Print” button.
To display the labels in a new document, click the button “New Document”.
This opens a new document with our labels, we can save it, print it, or do whatever we want whit it.

Options

Click in the dialog box “Envelopes and Labels” on the button “Options” to set the options of our labels.
This opens the dialog “Options”.

At the top we give the printer information.
By default the option “Page Printers”is checked here.
We also find that the “Tray”, by default is set to “Default tray”.
Do you want this to be a different choice, click the downward pointing arrow.

Below that we find the Label Information.
Clicking on the downward pointing arrow gives us a number of vendors of labels where we can choose from.
If you have chosen a vendor, then it appears in the box below with the various products of this vendor.

If you can’t find a manufacturer or product number that meets your labels, click the button “New Label…”.
This opens the dialog “Label Details” where you can enter just about all the options needed for your labels to be printed in a fancy way.
Give the label a name, enter your settings, and click OK
Because this is different for everyone, I’m not going to expand further
