OK that was easy, now we have to mention this in our photo data, particularly in the “Camera Data (EXIF)” section.
Click on “Edit” – “Preferences” from the menu bar of the Bridge.
This opens the “Preferences” dialog box:

Check the “Orientation” box that you find in the “Camera Data (EXIF)” folder.
For your information, the different folders under a folder are shown by clicking on the downward-pointing arrow in front of it.
Now we’re here, we can see that the info for Rating and Label are also checked.
This is at the very top of the “File Properties” folder.
Click OK when they are checked.

As you see in the first image of this page, all information that we have just ticked displayed in separate windows.

First, we give a Rating for our photo. les11_image03_en
Click on “Label” in the menubar and select the number of stars you would give.

Then we give a label to our photo.
Click again on the “label” in the menubar and select one of the several labels:
“Select” – “Second” – “Approved” – “Review” – “To Do”
Or if you wish to remove a Label you choose “No Label”

We can customize labels to our own liking so that it makes a little more sense.
Click on “Edit” – “Preferences” from the menu bar and select the “Labels” tab.
Give a description of the different boxes as you want in this:

Award Keywords

If we assign Keywords to photos, we can later filter on them.
To add keywords to a photo, the keyword needs to be added to our list of different keywords.
Just click on the black square at the top right of the “keywords” tab.
Choose “New Keyword” if it is new, choose “New Sub Keyword” keyword if you want to put in a subcategory.

The keyword or sub keyword is added to the list.

Now, select the photo you want to add one or more keywords.
And check the keyword (s) in the list.
