Lesson 81: Adjustment Layers (Adjustment Layer) (1)

81/85 Lessons

Introduction

With an Adjustment Layer (Adjustment Layer), we apply color and tonal adjustments to the image without constantly changing the pixel values of the image.
The nice thing about Adjustment Layers is that you can modify them long after they are applied.
Adjustment Layers allow the best option for color or tonal changes.

To add an adjustment layer, click the “Create new fill or adjustment layer” button at the bottom of the “Layers” palette.
And make your choice from the dropdown menu.
An adjustment layer is applied to all the underlying layers.
