Drawing Polygons

To draw a Polygon, we select the “Polygon” tool in the Toolbox, or if you have the “Rectangle” tool still selected, you can also select this in the Options bar.
The “slides” box gives you the number of corners that you want.

Click the black down pointing arrow to set the options for your polygon.
Specify the various options.
Radius: when you enter a value here, you determine the size of the star in pixels, and you only need to click with the left click on the image.
Smooth Corners: if checked, gives rounded corners.
Star: You check this when you want to draw a star of course.
By Indent Sides: refers to the indentation of the corners. 50% in this is good if you want to sign with a star.
Smooth indents: enter a value when you wish to complete the indentation of the corners. Click and drag over the image where you wish to place the polygon. You can change the color of the polygon. Double-click the fill layer from the layer.

Remove Shapes

The quickest way to remove a shape is by selecting the layer and dragging it to the trash at the bottom of the “Layer” palette.
But we do not always remove the entire shape.
You can also remove parts of a shape by selecting the block of the line you wish to remove and clicking the Delete button on your keyboard.

Repeat this action, Photoshop will ask you what you want to do.
Do you want to remove the entire layer?
Do you wish to remove only the vector mask?
Or you wish remove only the content of this vector mask?
As we are going to equip the vector mask with a new shape in the next lesson, I choose the later option and click OK.

Awesome!
