Cropping using selection tool

We can also “crop” (crop) with any selection tool in conjunction with the “Crop” Image command under the menu bar.
We first select the “Select Tool” in the Toolbox. It does not matter which.
Select the parts in the picture.
If you want to select multiple parts in the picture, hold the Shift key on your keyboard pressed while you select the second, third, fourth … Selections.
(More about the selection tools in the next chapter)
If you have selected a part that you do not want, hold the Alt key on your keyboard while you click and drag on this selection.

Click “Image” – “Crop” from the menu bar:

As you see in the picture above, the selections still remain after cropping our photos.
If you need nothing more from these selections, click “Select” – “Deselect” in the menu bar.

Automatic cropping

Suppose we have scanned some photos, one was a little less straighter than the others on our scanner.
Result:

Now we want to have a separate and preferably a straight picture of each image.
Piece of cake.

Choose “File” – “Automate” – “Crop” and “Straighten Photos” in the menu bar.
At last, Photoshop does all this work for us.
