Color Balance vs. Color Variations

I will not explain how to set the colors of your photos, because this is different for each photo, but I’m going to have some of the potential proposals.
As an example, I use the below picture that I found on the Internet.

The first option we have is the “Color balance”.
Click on “Image” – “Adjustments” – “Color Balance” from the menu bar:

In the “Color Balance” dialog box, we can use the scrollbars to adjust different colors Cyan – Red etc., but I wiil be wiser and not adjust these.
I prefer the second option the “Variations”.

For the Variations dialog box, we click “Image” – “Adjustments” – “Variations” … in the menu bar:

The Variations window gives us a bit more options than the Color Balance window.

It seems complicated, but it’s not.
