79/85 Lessons

Insert Picture

To insert an image, we first open the image in Photoshop.
Should the dimensions of the image you want to insert need to be adjusted, do so in the image itself. You could do this with the fourth tool (Transform Tool) in the Vanishing Point dialog box, but for the best results, it is better if you first do this in the image to be inserted.
OK, to insert the image (approximately) with the correct size, select the image.
Click on “Select” – “All” in the menu bar.

We can not click and drag the picture into the Vanishing Point dialog box, so we click
“Edit” – “Copy” in the menu bar.
We select our image back where we want to place this picture.
We want to add the picture in only a portion of the wall, so we select the first section in the image where we want to place the picture.
I used these sites in the blue color, these could easily be selected.
Because I’m in the original layer of the photo, I also want to add a new layer first.
Click the “Create New Layer” button at the bottom of the “Layers” palette.

Click “Filter” – “Vanishing Point” in the menu bar to open the “Vanishing” dialog box.
In this dialog we have no “paste” function, so we need to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V on our keyboard.
The photo still appears stuck in the upper left corner of the dialog.
Click and drag the photo to the place you want.
You can customize the size of the picture even further, if you have to, with the “Transform” Tool.

Click OK when you are satisfied.
Our picture is now added in its own layer.

Repeat this for every image you insert.

If you want to insert a clone of an already inserted image, select the image to clone with the selection tool in the Vanishing Dialog.
And click and drag with the alt key pressed to the place where you want it.
