Color Range mask (Color Range)

The first example I’m going to show in Masking is the “color range mask” (Color Range mask).
I open two images above, a glass with water and a background.
The intention is that the I place the glass of water above the new background, while maintaining the blue color of water.

Select the photo with the glass of water and choose “Select” – “Color Range” in the menu bar.
In the “Color Range” window, we give in a value for “fuzziness”, this is different for each image.
When we click the “eyedropper” tool, that our mouse is altered to in the picture with the glass of water, we can add or remove colors from our selection.
On the whole, white is selected, black is not selected.
When we view in the “Preview Selection” or select the “Grayscale” option, we can clearly see what will be selected and what not. Click OK when you are happy.
